The Government of Japan grants 147,281 EUR for three projects; a project for primary education in Zavidovici, and two projects for primary health care in Breza and Kakanj

Under the scheme of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, the Government of Japan decided to grant 53,164 Euro (approx. 103,980KM) for the Project for Rehabilitation of Primary School Kovaci in Zavidovici, 70,813 Euros (approx. 138,500 KM) and 23,304 Euros (approx. 45,580KM) for the Projects for Equipping Health Care Center with Medical Equipment in Breza and in Kakanj respectively. On February 18, Ambassador of Japan to BiH, Kazuya Ogawa signed the Grant Contracts with representatives of Primary School Kovaci, Health Care Center Breza and Health Care Center Kakanj.
The Project for Rehabilitation of Primary School Kovaci in Zavidovici, one of the three projects for this ceremony, will improve safety of the facilities and the educational environment for children by replacing deteriorated joineries such as windows and doors in the primary school. Moreover, for the Projects for Equipping Health Care Center with Medical Equipment in Breza and in Kakanj will aim to create medical environment where local people can have an examination safely by renewing medical equipment. Health Care Center Breza will be equipped with an advanced Multi-purpose X-ray apparatus and Health Care Center Kakanj will be equipped with an advanced ultra-sound diagnostic machine.
