Ambassador Ogawa Attended a handover Ceremony of Medical Equipment Worth around 560,000 KM hosted by H.E. Mr. Osmanovic, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina


On March 24, Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Kazuya Ogawa, attended a handover ceremony of medical equipment whose value is approximately 560,000 KM. The ceremony was hosted by H.E. Adil Osmanovic, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


University Clinical Center Sarajevo, University Hospital Clinical Center Banja Luka, University Clinical Center Tuzla, University Clinical Hospital Mostar, University Hospital Foca, Cantonal Hospital Orasje, Cantonal Hospital Livno, Cantonal Hospital Gorazde and Health Center Brcko will receive surgical instruments, diagnostic devices, an aspirator, infant incubators, infant warmers and phototherapy units. Minister H.E. Osmanovic and representatives of the nine medical institutions signed documents to handover the medical equipment to the institutions from the Ministry of Civil Affairs.


This is a part of the Non-project Grant Aid for Provision of Japanese SME Products (JFY 2013). The Government of Japan will provide Bosnia and Herzegovina with advanced meteorological equipment, water level warning system, water purification system, water bags etc. in addition to the medical equipment.
