Handover Ceremony for the Project for Refurbishment for the Branch School Mioce of Primary School “Bosko Buha” Rudo

  

On April 21, 2016, the handover ceremony for “The Project for Refurbishment for the Branch School Mioce of Primary School “Bosko Buha” Rudo” was held in Branch School Mioce of Primary School “Bosko Buha” Rudo with the attendance of Deputy Head of Mission of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Kazumasa Miyazaki, Mayor of Rudo Municipality Mr. Rato Rajak, Headmaster of Primary School “Bosko Buha” Rudo Ms. Slavka Boskovic.
 
Under this Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GAGP), the Government of Japan has granted 91,726 EUR (176,400.46KM) to the Branch School Mioce of Primary School “Bosko Buha” Rudo, for renovating deteriorated exteriors, roofs, windows, doors and sanitary blocks in the school buildings; as well as providing furniture for pupils, and installing fences besides play ground to prevent occurence of accidents by rush-out of pupils.
 
This project ensures safety and adequate environment for primary education for around 70 pupils, and 20 teachers and non-teaching staffs of the school, and also saves heating costs by installing new joinery, which contributes to protection of the environment. Furthermore, for this branch school plays a role as a meeting place for local residents, about 650 people living in this municipality are also going to gain their benefits from this project potentially.
