Handover Ceremony for The Project for Equipping Health Care Center Sekovici with an Ambulance Vehicle

  


On May 16, 2016, the handover ceremony for “The project for Equipping Health Care Center Sekovici with an Ambulance Vehicle” was held in Sekovici Municipality with attendance of Deputy Head of Mission of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr.Kazumasa Miyazaki, Mayor of Sekovici Municipality Mr. Budimir Ninić, and Director of Health Care Center Sekovici Mr. Snežan Sokić.
 

Under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GAGP) scheme, The Government of Japan granted 41,333 EUR (80,842 KM) to Sekovici Municipality, for installing a new ambulance vehicle. This project contributes to emergency transportation to the health care center for around 2,600 per a year directly, and around 10,000 residents of the Municipality.
 

The Government of Japan attaches importance to projects in the health care sector. Since 1996, the Government of Japan has supported around 30 projects in the sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the GAGP scheme.
