Ambassador Ogawa attended a handover ceremony of equipment for 6 water utility companies granted by Japan’s Non–Project Grant Aid for Provision of Japanese SME Products

  

On January 18, Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Kazuya Ogawa and H.E. Mirko Šarović, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended a handover ceremony of equipment for 6 water utility companies whose value is approximately 1.1 million KM.

This grant is a part of the Non-Project Grant Aid for Provision of Japanese SME Products (Fiscal Year 2013), and equipment such as water pumps, water leak detectors, ground penetrating radars, procured by Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations will be installed at water utility companies in Istočno Sarajevo, Višegrad, Prača, Kupres, Vareš and Banja Luka.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mr. Šarović mentioned in his speech that Japan’s support to BiH directly benefits residents of local communities.
