Signing Ceremony for two Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects for Kladanj and Visegrad

  

On 15 February, Ambassador Kazuya Ogawa signed two Grant Contracts of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects with Mr. Nihad Gondzic, Director of Primary School „Kladanj“ Kladanj, and Mr. Momir Radojcic, Director of Primary School „Vuk Karadzic“, Visegrad.

Under the scheme of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, the Government of Japan decided to grant 96,533.90 KM (49,357 Euros) for “The Project for Rehabilitation of Kladanj Primary School in Kladanj” for replacing heating boiler and repairing deteriorated joineries such as windows and doors in the school buildings, and 133,145.08 KM (68,076 Euros) for “The Project for Rehabilitation of Vuk Karadzic Primary School in Visegrad” for repairing old joineries and renovating facade of the school building and replacing heating systems in the sports halls of the school.

These two grant contracts will improve primary educational situation in the two Municipalities, and about 1,300 children and about 160 teachers and school staffs in the two primary schools benefit directly from these projects.
