Signing Ceremony for four Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects for health care centers in Donji Vakuf, Konjic, and Livno, and a primary school in Sarajevo

   
 
 

Under the scheme of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, the Government of Japan decided to grant 33,699 Euro (approx. 66,000 KM) to The Project for Equipping Health Care Center Donji Vakuf with an Ambulance Vehicle; 55,526 Euro (approx. 109,000 KM) to The Project for Equipping Health Care Center Konjic with an Ambulance Vehicle; 62,631 Euro (approx. 122,000 KM) to The Project for Equipping Health Care Center Livno with an Ambulance Vehicle, and 76,999 Euro (approx. 151,000 KM) to The Project for Rehabilitation of Saburina Primary School in Sarajevo.

On February 28, Ambassador of Japan to BiH, Mr. Hideyuki Sakamoto signed the Grant Contracts with Ms. Rusmira Basic, Director of Health Care Center Donji Vakuf, Ms. Jasminka Brkan Hrvacic, Director of Health Care Center Konjic, Mr. Robert Kaselj, Deputy Director of Health Care Center Livno, and Ms. Meliha Parla, School Director of Saburina Primary School in Sarajevo.

Three projects for procurement of an ambulance vehicle in Health Care Center Donji Vakuf, Health Care Center Konjic, and Health Care Center Livno will improve the quality of medical service in the municipalities. The project for rehabilitation of Saburina Primary School in Sarajevo will improve safety of the facilities and educational environment for children by replacing deteriorated joineries such as windows and doors in the primary school.
