Ambassador Ogawa attended a Signing Ceremony of the Documents to Handover Medical Equipment worth around 487,000KM hosted by H.E. Mr. Osmanovic, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Hercegovina

On June 9, Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Kazuya Ogawa, attended a signing ceremony of the documents to handover medical equipment (phase 2) to nine medical institutions in BiH, whose value is approximately 487,000 KM. The ceremony was hosted by H.E. Mr. Adil Osmanović, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Clinical Center University in Sarajevo, Clinical Center University in Tuzla, Clinical hospital in Mostar, Cantonal hospital “Dr. Safet Mujić” Mostar, Cantonal hospital Goražde, Cantonal hospital “Dr. fra Mihovil Sučić” Livno, Healthcare institution Hospital Gradiška, Healthcare institution Hospital Trebinje and Healthcare center Brčko will receive surgical instruments, fetal diagnostic device, aspirators, infant incubators, electrosurgical knife, operating table, infusion pumps and CTG. Minister Osmanović and representatives of the nine medical institutions signed documents to handover the medical equipment (phase 2) to the institutions from the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

This is a part of the Non-project Grant Aid for Provision of Japanese SME Products (JFY 2013). In addition to the medical equipment (phase 2), the Government of Japan provided Bosnia and Herzegovina with medical equipment (phase 1) and water pipelines maintenance equipment and will also provide meteorological observation system, hydrometeorological equipment and waterbags etc.
