School Visits for Japanese Culture Introduction



Cultural Attaché of the Japanese Embassy, Mr. Takayuki Kumakura, together with Ms. Ajla Šabić, staff of the Culture and PR Section of the Embassy, and Mr. Nikola Matašin (Origami artist), visited the following schools and delivered lectures for the students. They explained briefly about Japanese tradition, geography, food, language, anime with Origami demonstration, and held video presentations. After the presentations, Q&A sessions were held, during which the staff answered various questions related to Japan. The Embassy of Japan hopes that this kind of grassroots events will bring Japanese culture closer to the young citizens of BiH, and strengthen friendship between the two countries.
