JLPT 2021 - Call for Applications for DECEMBER
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2021 for Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on Sunday, 5 December 2021 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo (address: Franje Račkog 1, 71 000 Sarajevo, BiH).
The JLPT is a test for non-native speakers of Japanese language, which evaluates and certifies their Japanese language proficiency.
* Please be informed that the test is subject to cancellation due to COVID-19. In case of cancellation after payment, the paid test fee will be returned to the applicant.

*Please note that applicants who require special testing accomodations (persons visually or audibly impaired, with lower limb immobility, etc.) should submit their applications no later than 9 September 2021. See further below for the non-STA application deadline.
*Please make sure to submit all 2 mandatory STA forms if applying for special testing accomodations.
Applicants should be, in principle, non-native speakers of Japanese. Application from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina is possible for the BiH test site.
N1 – The ability to understand Japanese used in a variety of circumstances
N2 – The ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations, and in a variety of circumstances to a certain degree
N3 – The ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations to a certain degree
N4 – The ability to understand basic Japanese
N5 – The ability to understand some basic Japanese

1. Please read the Test Guide carefully.
2. Please download the Application Form exclusively from this webpage.
3. Please complete the Application Form electronically. Please read the Important Notes on electronic registration.
4. Please print the Application Form and sign it. Keep Sheet C for yourself, and bring it with you on the day of the exam. Paste your photos on the Test Vaucher and the Test Voucher Copy. Do NOT staple the photos on. Pasting the photos with tape is acceptable, provided that the tape does not cover the photo.
5. Please transfer the Test Fee (70.00 KM or 35.80 €) to the corresponding bank account, depending on your location:
(a) INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
Please bear in mind that banks will charge an additional fee for international transfer, as well as conversion fees for payments other than euro, which neither the Embassy nor Faculty of Philosophy are obligated to cover. With that in mind, please consult with your bank about the exact amount of fees when making payments from abroad.
(b) LOCAL TRANSFER
6. Please submit the following documents:
(a) Completed Application Form (Sheets A and B);
(b) Test Voucher;
(c) Test Voucher Copy;
(d) Bank receipt confirming the payment of the test fee (a copy is acceptable);
(e) If applicable, Special Testing Accomodation (JLPT STA) forms.
Please submit the documents by registered post (for fear of losing personal information in transit) to the Embassy, addressed as described:

Hand-delivered documents in a sealed envelope will also be accepted. Hand-delivered documents can be brought to the Embassy without prior appointment, during working days and hours. The visitor will not be permitted to linger within the Embassy.
The Embassy of Japan in BiH will be accepting JLPT 2021 applications during the following timeframe:
30 August 2021 – 17 September 2021
Registration Confirmation and Inquiries
All applicants should receive the registration confirmation email by 30 September 2021 at the latest. If you do not receive conformation by the end of the day on this date, please email the Embassy immediately, or call 033 277 520.
