OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina organized visit to schools for the diplomatic corps and International organizations on 20 April, and First Secretary Atsushi Saito attended the visit from the Embassy of Japan. In the City of Rudo, which is located near the border with Serbia, local primary school is active in ethnic reconciliation, and an exchange was held with pupils. The group also visited the secondary vocational school in the City of Gorazde, which is located in the eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The equipment which was donated by the Government of Japan just after the war (UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina Fund “BIH/97/041-Vocational Training Centre Gorazde” (June 1997 - December 1999)), is used for practical trainings in this school, and it contributes to develop human resources for local industries.
